Luz Michelle's upbringing is as eclectic as her comedy style. Part Colombian and part Native-Indian, she was adopted by two Eastern European Jews and raised in Staten Island, also known as "Heroin Island." Luz has translated her unique experiences into a successful career, gracing stages at top venues such as Caroline's and The Stand, and appearing at major festivals like SXSW and the NYC Comedy Festival. She's like a perfectly balanced cocktail followed by a potent edible- strong, yet flavorful - and her audiences can't get enough.

Luz is also a trailblazing Producer and host of the acclaimed comedy entertainment company, Hard Headed Comedy™. Known for her unwavering commitment to showcasing established and emerging comedic talent, she has garnered widespread recognition for her live and streamed showcases. Since March 2020, Luz has been producing Still Standing Monologues, a show that has become a beloved staple in the LGBTQIA & Women in Comedy community. Building on her successful track record, Luz is excited to launch her latest venture, Lucy's Laugh Lounge, in 2023. With this new show, Luz aims to bring together the cannabis and comedy communities for a night of unparalleled laughter and relaxation. Through her work, Luz strives to create opportunities for her colleagues to perfect their craft and bring much-needed medicine - in the form of laughter - to audiences worldwide, both live and virtually.
